RICS Enterprise Overview
What is SaaS?
RICS Enterprise is a hosted, fully-managed software product that is delivered via the Software as a Service (SaaS) method. Software as a Service is a real-time solution that provides retailers a strategic advantage of rapid system scalability allowing for quick, smooth and easy growth.
Data Management
RICS Enterprise enables centralized, real-time management of your data. Both updated and new data is immediately available to all applicable stores. No longer will each store have to setup their own store-level data or wait until the next nightly data refresh until updated data is sent down from the main computer.
Point of Sale
The RICS Enterprise Point of Sale module is easy to use yet contains a comprehensive set of features to address your diverse selling needs. Sales associates with little to no computer experience will quickly master the POS through the use of our practice sale feature.
Inventory Management
Effective management of inventory is crucial for a soft goods retailer to succeed. Too much inventory negatively impacts cash flow. Insufficient inventory translates to lost sales. The proper mix of inventory results in increased cash flow and satisfied customers.
Customer Relationship Mgmt
Research has shown that it is more expensive to acquire new customers than retain current customers. With fierce competition from other brick and mortar retailers as well as the Internet retailers, it is absolutely critical to understand your customer’s buying habits and purchase history.
Accounts Receivable
The RICS Accounts Receivable module (optional) is fully integrated with the RICS Point of Sale and Sales Order functions. The A/R module contains all the features and reports needed to manage A/R balances for both Balance Forward accounts for individuals and Open Item accounts for commercial customers.
Reporting
RICS Enterprise contains a broad array of highly flexible, pre-configured reports. Each report contains numerous selection criteria to enable you to include or exclude as much information as you like. Since all transaction details are stored in real-time, accurate reports can be run any time of the month on any date range.
