Sales
Sales can be entered at either the main computer in the back office, or at the Point of Sale (POS). Sales entry is so simple that even salespeople with no computer experience can learn the process in minutes. Sales tickets can actually be entered in seconds. At the end of the day, after balancing cash, sales are sent to the main computer by diskette, modem, network, or via the Internet.
RICS provides many options for tracking sales totals:

At the Point of Sale you can:
- Look up prices & SKUs
- Easily enter customer sales, returns and exchanges
- Clock In/Out, or make adjustments on the Time Clock
- Inquire into your inventory, or check stock availability at other stores
- Lookup inventory by SKU, Vendor, Description or Color/Style
- Find inventory by size or display all in stock inventory for a specific size
- Enter/scan PO's or manual receipts, vendor returns, or inter-store transfers
- Create new PO's for that store
- Split commissions on sales
- Exchange messages with the main office
- Add, delete, edit, or print customer names, addresses, comments, alert flags or other customer information
- Review/Print customer information (with individual family members) and purchase history
- Use passwords to avoid unauthorized refunds, markdowns, payouts, and voids
