Purchase Orders

RICS includes an open purchase order tracking system, which can track orders as "At Once Orders" or "Future Orders". Purchase orders can be printed so you can fax or mail in orders. Reports are available which show short-stocked or over-stocked items. Reports can also print all items, only items on order, only short items (on hand is below model) or only critical items (on hand is below model and is not on order). When printing PO’s you may choose to print cost, retail, both cost & retail, or neither on the PO. When receiving PO’s you may enter a per pair freight charge, or a volume discount percent.

Duplicate Purchase Orders

RICS allows you to duplicate an existing Purchase Order with the same information for another store or the same store but with different ship dates, by simply pressing one key.

Open Purchase Order Report

Open purchase orders can be printed and totaled at any time. The reports can be run by "At Once", "Future", or "Total Orders". Also available is an Open Purchase Order Report by Month and a cash payments projection. With this information, you can easily spot over or under buying for each season and keep orders in line with anticipated cash flow. You can also track by ship dates to easily spot potential late deliveries in advance.

Automatic Purchase Orders

An Automatic Purchase Order selection will generate purchase orders based upon on-hand and model stock levels. If the on-hand falls below the model stock level and the item is not already on order, then the purchase order is created. No longer will you have to take time consuming size ups of certain SKUs every Monday (or other order interval) and then prepare a fill-in order. It is all automatically completed with the press of a key.

Case Packs

RICS has the ability to create a case pack or pre-pack file for frequently used order quantities. This speeds up entering purchase orders by not having to re-enter the quantities for each SKU for common size runs. Multiple quantities of case packs can be entered on purchase orders screen and the printed purchase order will show the actual sizes with the case pack number.
