Easy to Use

RICS is designed for the first time computer user, not a computer expert. You can concern yourself with understanding your business through using a computer, not understanding the computer itself. RICS is accessed by a series of easy-to-use menus. Menu navigation is simply the click of a mouse, or using the arrow keys on the keyboard and pressing enter on the desired menu option. Below is the Main Menu, with the Sales option highlighted, and the available Choices for that option.

Inventory Management

The user assigns each style in inventory a unique SKU number (stock keeping unit) which can be numeric, alpha or both. Many customers use the vendor stock number as their SKU number. Each SKU can be broken down into a matrix of columns and rows, such as size/width, size/color, waist/length, neck/sleeve, etc. This grid can be up to fifty-four columns and twenty-seven rows (54 X 27). RICS can accommodate items that do not require sizing such as accessories and virtually any type of one or two dimensional size matrix to meet the needs of individual users.
